Methodology

Lankawa queries the public CBSL daily gold-rate form for XAU/LKR rows over a short recent window and shows only parsed official rows. Household 24K/22K per gram and per pawn (8g) are derived from the troy-oz figure (÷31.1034768 g; ×0.916 for 22K) — shops add margins. If CBSL does not publish a current gold row or the endpoint is unavailable, the economy page omits the gold card.
