Overview

River station flood alert levels aggregated for national monitoring.

Methodology

Lankawa polls river station alert levels every few minutes, groups stations by alert level (NORMAL, WATCH, etc.), and displays counts on the pulse, disaster page, and source health dashboard. For station-level readings (`fetchLatestFloodLevels`), when lk-flood-api timestamps lag by more than 6 hours (or the API is down), live Irrigation ArcGIS gauges are preferred via the same FloodStationLevel shape — see irrigation_arcgis_gauges.
