WFP HDX food prices (Sri Lanka)

Overview

Direct WFP/HDX CSV retail and wholesale staple prices for Sri Lanka.

Methodology

While FoodLK public API returns 500s, Lankawa fetches the HDX CSV `wfp_food_prices_lka.csv` via `food-direct.ts`, averages latest retail (else wholesale) quotes for rice, onions, lentils, coconut, sugar, and wheat flour, and estimates an essentials basket from non-stale staples only (lagged quotes stay visible but are excluded). District meal bands remain seed. Not HARTI or NCPI.
